We are extremely excited to bring you the new “Ergo” throttle. Just like before, our goal is to offer a perfect throttle that responds to your input but doesn’t interfere with your flying. Our throttles are light, simple, extremely comfortable, intuitive to use and offer the best bang for your buck. The kill switch is easy to find but it’s recessed and you won’t press it accidentally.

The new custom molded ergonomic foam grip is a game changer. It positions the throttle in your hand at a perfect angle of attack, exactly where it should be, no matter what you do while flying. This unique feature is a first in the industry, and you will wonder how you ever controlled your paramotor without it. Don’t be fooled. This is not just another foam grip that adds some minor comfort. It completely changes how this throttle operates and feels in your hand.

Electric Start

The Electric Start model has been completely redesigned and perfected. The button is small and discreetly located below your wrist, preserving the Ergo grip. It can be pressed from either side and only when you intend to start the engine. The button is completely out of the way from risers and lines so it cannot be pressed without your intent.

Float Bowl (Polini, Sky Engines)

There is a new dedicated model for float bowl carburetors (including a thread on the carb end that works with Polini and Sky Engines). This includes the Electric Start model.

Features

  • The throttle can be switched from right to left handed operation (including cruise control and e-start models)
  • Fully Plug-n-Play for most engines (no more crimping or zip-ties)
  • The lever comes with a notch which lets you trim it for a more aggressive/ergonomic 2-finger operation or keep it as is for precise, 3-finger control
  • High quality multi strand silicone wire with a simplified one wire connection kill switch connection
  • The last 2.5″ of the cable are bendable to accommodate E-Start engines with less install room
  • The strap can easily be adjusted, even in flight. You can pick between a standard strap or elastic
  • All-composite construction. This throttle is light and comfortable and doesn’t freeze your hands in winter flying
  • Permanently integrated Velcro frame attachment straps

Cruise Control

The cruise control lever is engaged by rotating it forward. With light pressure the lever is held in position to hold steady RPM but it can be adjusted by simply moving the lever back and forth at any time and released by pushing it forward with your fingers in case of an emergency.

The lever angle is adjustable (it’s spring loaded so you can pull it away from the body and rotate it into any position). Unlike other throttles with a cruise control knob, our lever cannot loosen itself and fall off by itself. Its range is limited by hard stops on both sides. There is also now a friction spring which prevents it from moving on its own if you bump it on your risers.

Our Throttles are Plug-N-Play for most engines

Our throttles are an ideal length for both left and right side. They come fully finished and pre-crimped. This makes them plug and play for most engines with Walbro and Tillotson style carbs and on most frames. The last 2.5″ can be heated up and bent to form a 90 degree elbow for Dual Start Moster or otherwise tight spaces.

Permanently integrated Quick-Service Velcro frame connections

Our throttles come with built in Velcro straps that are used to attach it to the frame.

Premium Materials and Lightweight Construction

The main tube is made from carbon fiber. The lever and top/bottom bodies are made from a durable and lightweight Nylon material. No shortcuts are taken in the manufacturing of this product and it’s proudly 100% produced and finished in-house in the USA. It comes backed by a one year warranty.
